Tracker plans for the run are:

  • Firmware upgrades and tests
  • Test readout of tracker with TOFs 0 and 1
  • Test triggering of tracker from TOFs
  • Time in the relationship between the ISIS RF and the arrival of particles through the tracker single station
  • Take data for testing the reconstruction of space points

The plan for timing in the particle arrivals in the single station will involve sweeping the integration and allowed trigger periods, beginning with the likely latency from the TOF1 trigger.

The list of requirements for the tracker readout, and their status, is as follows:

  • Installation/Connectivity of DAQ and controls PCs with crates - Done
  • Testing of initialisation - Done
  • Merging of DATE code into MLCR - Done
  • Cables run from MLCR to rack location - Done
  • Inclusion of tracker into DAQ signal fan-outs and trigger - Done
  • Testing of DAQ using internal modes/LED particle trigger - Done
  • Verification of ISIS RF/trigger relationship - Done
  • Setup of ISIS RF manipulation in MLCR - Done
  • Testing of manipulated ISIS RF as integration period on AFE boards - Done
  • Check temperature control - Done
  • Check bias calibrations
  • Testing with LED using real ISIS external clocks
  • Calibrate discriminators
  • Calibrate timing
  • Use TOF particle triggers with real ISIS RF clock
  • Scan various delays for signal using full setup
