Shifter Role and Expectations¶

The role of the shifter is to monitor and ensure efficient data-taking on MICE.
THey are responsible for safe working in the MLCR, and in the Hall if necessary;
correct operations of the MICE equipment and ensuring high data-quality.

New, and stale, shifters will be given a talk by the MOM outlining the shift expectations,
responsibilities and procedures (see attached). The Operations Coordinator will ensure that new
shifters attend this training session.
