Software & Computing Issues¶

• Software
  • TOF:
    • New calibrations from recent running have been vetted & uploaded.
  • Tracker:
    • NaN bug: bug identified, fix is not yet in MAUS
  • Global:
    • Performance is an issue; Jan Greis studying
  • MC:
    • G4BL generation of pion beam libraries blocked -- issues with very few pions getting through to TOF1/Tracker.
      • Need guidance from analysis -- while waiting for resource to address the pion yield, is it still valuable to go ahead and generate 'muon' libraries and push through simulations?

• Infrastructure
  • Survey from last run being incorporated into geometry.
    • + a few other requests for extra virtual planes. Release expected 15/16

• Data processing
  • Reprocessing of data with new TOF calibrations was started.
  • It has been put on holding awaiting new geometries

• Personnel
  • DAQ head
  • Geometry head
    • RB+DR interaction to document & detail geometry procedures has commenced.
