• Melissa Uchida leading revamp of Global tracking+PID algorithms, expecting first
• Plans:
  • resolve tracker unpacking issue
  • add reconstruction quality flags

Online¶

• MLCR network switch being replaced
• Taking inventory of backup needs and requirements for spares/replacements
• Preparing checklist for mock data run Jan 2015
  • Trigger, tracker, DAQ, software...
• On-call rota: appeals have gone out, hoping to identify resources by end of year
• Found data corruption in some older runs
  • Yordan working on catching it earlier, pre-reconstruction.
  • need to make sure we don't take corrupted data

Infrastructure¶

• Preparing for MC batch production
  • necessary scripts are in latest offline release, testing CDB production tables, and beam-input bureaucracy
• DataMover automation plan to test by the next activation run

• heplnm069 replacement: delivery likely first week of Jan
• New mousehole available on heplnv155
• Plans to migrate offline test server and epics gateways to HyperV
• Warwick postdoc slated to take charge of Infrastructure from Jan 15.
  • Working on having a face-to-face while at RAL for mock data run
