Context

Need to have global reconstruction ready for Step IV data-taking

Overview

Take the output of individual detector reconstructions -- TOF space-points, SciFi Tracks, EMR tracks(?) and reconstruct 'best' global track
  • provide phase space vector and PID + errors
  • global tracks for all [ e/mu/pi ] hypotheses [ ? ]

  • Data Structure -- done [ any remaining issues? ]
  • Detector inputs (Det Groups)
    • currently TOF space-points, SciFi tracks
    • Q: is reconstruction flexible enough to allow adding inputs -- e.g. EMR tracks, or removing pieces, e.g. dead TOF2 or tracker station?
  • Track Propagation and Fitting (PL)
    • Start with fitting single tracks before moving to more complex cases
    • Status: code, validation, tests, documentation, issues/dependencies,roadblocks
    • Next steps: fit multiple tracks? fit with all candidate hypotheses? Kalman?
