Discussion¶

With a gdml parser the loading time reduces to 350s, which is acceptable but problem with tracking. Problem with tracking due to overlapping volumes. Problem not unsurmontable just require weeding of offending volumes, most are small objects, such as screws that we would have removed anyway.
Only exception are 3 aluminium volumes but it is not the majority of the material in that cryostat region.. Second way (not pursued) would be correct the resolution of the geometry rendering.

Definition of diffuser still incomplete. Victoria provided specification of the irises. Problem resolved. Fixing the problem right now.
