• Looking at using "run" to do deconvolution
  • fortran
  • reads ntuples; give it data and mc, it will unfold stuff somehow
  • note that maths deconvolution formally assumes errors independent of truth, which is not a good approximation in our case; check what "run" does
• Tracker is flipped in py
  • trying some simple fixes, may be something deeper going on

John

• Run plan
  • 3 pi runs at 140, 200, 240, 172 (muscat), 600000 triggers
  • 6 pi at 240
  • MICE has about same angular acceptance
  • Discussion of slides, will fully justify at CM43

Rhys

• Energy loss
  • Literature search - no energy loss measurement of lH2; couldn't get muscat to do energy loss correlated with scattering
  • MC studies - residuals in tracker still buggered; < 40 MeV pt, 200 +/- 10 in tku; tkd is worse
