Hi Paolo,

I'm trying to install the latest version of MAUS on Ubuntu 18.04 and can't get around the scons/jsoncpp issue, with the installation failing.

I think I had a similar issue last year, but I can't remember who fixed it/got around the issue. It's a completely fresh version of Ubuntu and MAUS.
