Description

Scott asked to have a look at my code for global track fitting for energy loss analysis (say, including TOF and tracker).

The branch is

bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~chris-rogers/maus/tracking_errors/

I attach a "driver script" that should "just work" (haha) to do a fit on the upstream region. We can have a phone chat about it maybe?

Nb: to run, do all of the MAUS install stuff for the branch, then extract the tarball and do

source /path/to/maus/env.sh
python test_fixed_field_geometry.py

The direction of travel was for an integration test for this stuff (but it is definitely still in development).

I phoned Scott W - he has the code running. Complains about slowness, which I agree. So need to make the whole thing quicker (few days work, I have no time until October). But close the issue as it is technically complete.
