Description

In moving from Maus v2.0.0 to a more up to date version of maus (v2.1.0 onwards) I get the following error when running the standard configuration file for the Demo lattice.

Chris Hunt - Is there something Alan has been doing wrong that causes this issue? You have been running MC successfully on tracker...

Cheers

Yes, that should be an easy one.

In one of the recent versions (2.1 it would appear!) we updated the legacy scifi-plane model to better refect the fibre placements in the GDML geometry.

If you're using a MICEModule based geometry, with the old fibre parameterisations, they no longer correctly fit in the plane. To correct this, you simply change the MICEModule parameter:

PropertyDouble ActiveRadius xxx.x mm

to the following - for all 15 planes, upstream and downstream:

PropertyDouble ActiveRadius 161.0 mm

Sorry about that. At the time we weren't aware how many of us were performing tracker simulations with legacy geometries.
If that doesn't fix it let me know.

Thanks, that has resolved the issue.
