legacy Step4 geometry is broken or breaks MC

Description
Running with Stage4 geometry will cause simulate_mice.py to crash. Durga ran with Stage6 and cdb geometry and it worked, he has also confirmed Stage4 does not work. I've attached a log file with the output.

I think you are the closest thing we have to an MC man Chris :)

Sorry, I think it was supposed to be my "fault". I talked with Adam today and we think disabling Ckov if one is using the legacy geometry is the best thing to do.
Or you will see the error and do this,

Sorry, why disable it instead of fixing it?
