Slides for my initial results from the simulations of the channel with M1 currents are attached. I have also included an example configuration file.

The configuration files for all the 12 modes:
physics_processes on and off;
Flip and solenoid
3 emittance values.

Corrected the config. file to make dp/p = 0.01 (nearly no momentum spread)

And the corresponding parent geometry files

I am starting to look at options with alpha =/= 0 in the tracker. Acceptance plots are attached. Roughly speaking, the plots show acceptance in tracker region as a function of initial alpha and beta.

Details:
I tracked 1000 particles through 1.1 m of a 4 T field for various initial beta, alpha values. I looked at distribution of amplitudes, A. I calculated the ratio of number of particles in a given amplitude bin before and after making the 150 mm radius cut. I fitted a function of the form 0.5*tanh((-A+a0)/a1)+0.5 to the ratio graph. I show plots of a0, the acceptance in the tracker.

I also attach the scripts and output dataset (after analysis post-processing) for reference.
