Description

Updated Target (Controller) Documentation, with additional information for BPS/PPS systems and the key required from ISIS for lowering the frame ;)

This should have everything I know about operating the system.

Great, do you want me to do something with it? Is it finished and needs printing for MLCR or what?

Hi Chris,

Its finished to the best of my ability and there have been plenty of modifications to the system (eg BPS, PPS which are poorly described with the old instructions).

All the Sheffield guys have read over it and we have tested everything up to lowering the frame. I think that this documentation should be uploaded to replace the old, but I do expect there to be a couple of minor changes for little things I may have missed (hence my disclaimer).

On the Operations site under Updating Documentation it said to put it on here, so I did!

Note that this is inconsistent with MICE TARGET PHASE 2 POWER UP CHECK LIST. Could someone please tell me what to do here? I will label the check list with appropriate warning and assume that this supercedes the check list. Require target expert to verify that check list is superceded before it goes in the bin and provide new one.
