Description

Would it be possible to get an example script which takes some existing MICE ROOT data, reads it back from the TTree into a MICE spill, does some dummy analysis (makes a histo or something), and closes. Something using TTree:GetEntry and the like. I have been trying, but keeping ended up with seg faults... Thanks.

I spoke to Adam about this. There is an example already at

bin/examples/load_root_file.py
that loads a root file, makes a histogram of some TOF digits and spits to disk. Note however issue #1150 - if you do see that, please let me know, I will increase priority for ROOT version upgrade (so far AFAIK I'm the only one who has seen this bug).

Rejecting the issue but reopen if you find the given example doesn't do what you want or whatever...
